A Jeffeson County Family Reunion
featuring field games, community picnic and a
massive gift giving celebration!!!
We are gathering our creativity, collaboration and generosity for a community celebration and family reunion at the end of the
Rhododendron Festival Grand Parade (roughly 3PM) in Memorial Field.
All are welcome!
What can we create when we work together?
The purpose of this event is to exercise generosity, creativity and collaboration across generations, politics and circles of friends.
The Party Ark is a 16’ cedar boat that we are filling with the creativity, collaboration and generosity of our Community. We have partnered with Community Works to invite the citizens of Jefferson County to come together to fill this beautiful boat with handmade gifts and experiences between now and The Rhododendron Festival Grand Parade.
Community Works (formally the Community Boat Project) is a local non-profit focused on youth Job and Life skills thorough mentorship.
Our Goal
Our goal is to pull together 2000 or more gifts. On Saturday May 16th, our friends and neighbors will gather in Memorial Field immediately following the Rhody Festival Grand Parade (roughly 3PM) to share these gifts with each other and enjoy a massive celebration. Visiting youth royalty, ambassadors from neighboring communities will be invited to join as well.
There will be plenty of gifts for everyone!
