Shannon is an illustrator turned designer, turned organic farmer, turned educator currently living on Salish land in Washington State. Their work is inspired by the natural world, fantasy, community, and the liminal spaces we move through every day. At the heart of everything they do is a love for collaboration and creating playful, engaging spaces, whether working with students or clients.

You can catch Shannon at their booth at Port Townsend Pride this year, bringing that same creativity and joyful energy to the celebration.

Mission Statement

"Creating a space to uplift and celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community through advocacy, the arts, and joyful connection—on land and water."

Vision Statements

Port Townsend Pride envisions an event where:

  • Creativity and community thrive. Local queer artists, performers, and businesses are uplifted, amplified, valued, and welcomed in a way that ensures accessibility and inclusion for all.

  • 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and allies unite to engage, educate, and advocate for visibility and rights.

  • A strong connection to the water is honored, cultivating queer presence and participation in our maritime traditions.

  • People of all ages find belonging and support, believing that every 2SLGBTQIA+ individual—especially youth—feels safe, seen, and celebrated.

2018 to Present

What began as a spark during the 2018 Women’s March has blossomed into one of the most vibrant and inclusive celebrations on the Olympic Peninsula. From its grassroots beginnings to unforgettable festivals, youth programs, and community collaborations, Port Townsend Pride has evolved with heart and purpose.
