Earth Provides Us with Everything We Need
Robin Greenfield
The Earth can provide us with everything we need. Robin Greenfield believes this with all his heart and is putting this love and devotion for Earth into bold action. For one year he is foraging every bite of his food and medicine. “Nature” is his garden, his pantry and his pharmacy.
To bring this message to the people, he is traveling to communities throughout the country. He will embody a relationship of reciprocity with Earth during his community visits, bringing a spotlight to the food and medicine that is growing freely and abundantly all around us. As well as enthusiastically inviting communities to join him in a grassroots, collaborative effort to plant 1 Million Community Fruit Trees over the next decade.
While many of us are in great despair over our current social, political and environmental crises, this is a call to action. Now is the time to embrace community, build local resiliency, grow our relationships and develop our skills. Our relationship with Earth has been broken and this is one of our greatest threats as a global humanity. Reconnection is the remedy, overcoming the illusion of separateness and taking a loving embrace of our interconnectedness with all life we share this home. This is a call to healing our relationship with Earth and the land around us.
This workshop will provide inspiration, empowerment and hope to the people, lighting the fire to engage in and instigate positive local change. Robin’s presentation will share insights and practical knowledge to help take individual action and come together to move forward in a path of living in harmony. In each community we will highlight local Earth Stewards, with a focus on uplifting Black and Indigenous-led food sovereignty initiatives.
