MORE THAN AN EAR OF CORN
A PT fundraising tradition continues at the Wooden Boat Festival.
For decades, the corn booth at the Wooden Boat Festival has brought people together around something wonderfully simple: hot corn, shared work, and support for a local cause.

Over the years, the booth has been passed from one community organization to another. Each becoming a temporary steward of its history and using it to raise funds for work that matters.

Since 2025, The Production Alliance has had the honor of carrying this tradition forward and tradition is one of our core values.​
To us, tradition does not mean keeping something frozen in the past. It means recognizing what a community has created, honoring the people who sustained it, and accepting the responsibility of carrying it forward.

The Production Alliance produces celebrations and gatherings that connect people throughout Jefferson County. By volunteering, donating, becoming a member, or simply buying an ear of corn, you help us continue events that make this community feel like home.
