From decorating and gathering greenery to marching in the parade and handing out gifts, there are plenty of ways to get involved—whether you prefer behind-the-scenes work or being part of the action.
No matter your skill level, your time and energy will help create a fun, welcoming experience for the whole community.

Volunteer Roles
Gift Distributors (Day of Event)
Time: Approximately 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Help us close out the celebration by distributing gifts to attendees at Memorial Field. Volunteers will receive brief training ahead of time and will play a key role in creating a joyful, organized experience for guests as the parade concludes.

Party Ark Loading & Decoration Team
Date: Thursday, May 14
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Assist with loading materials and beginning the decoration of the Party Ark. This is a hands-on role perfect for those who enjoy teamwork and getting creative behind the scenes.
Volunteers Needed: 6
Party Ark Final Decoration Team
Date: Saturday, May 16
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Put the finishing touches on the Party Ark before the big event! Volunteers will help complete decorations and ensure everything is polished and ready for the parade.
Location: TPA Clubhouse
Green Team (Decoration Gathering)
Supplies Drop-Off: Thursday, May 14, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Drop Location: TPA Clubhouse
Volunteers Needed: 6
Gather natural materials such as cedar boughs, flowers, salal, and other greenery for float decorations. Volunteers can collect items in advance and drop them off at TPA HQ during the designated time.
Parade Ushers & Street Team
Time: 1:00 PM – ~3:00 PM
Location: Parade start location → Memorial Field
Volunteers Needed: 20
Description:
March in the Grand Parade while handing out flyers and engaging with the crowd. Volunteers will also help guide attendees into Memorial Field at the end of the parade. This is a fun, high-energy role for those who enjoy interacting with people.
Farmers Market Outreach Team
Date: May 9
Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Volunteers Needed: 6
Description:
Help build excitement for the Party Ark at the Farmers Market! Volunteers will engage with the public, promote the event, and manage a gift collection station.

We will fill and decorate the Party Ark and finalize plans for the Rhody Family Reunion!
