Celebrate the Season, Taste the Region
Olympic Peninsula, WA – The Olympic Peninsula Apple & Cider Festival returns for its ninth year, running October 10th–12th, 2025, to honor the flavors, traditions, and makers of Washington’s fall harvest. Hosted by The Production Alliance, this beloved event brings together cider lovers, families, foodies, and farmers for a vibrant weekend celebration rooted in the heart of the Pacific Northwest.
Since its launch in 2016, the festival has grown into a signature agritourism experience, celebrating Washington’s iconic fruit—the apple—and the diverse community of orchardists, fermenters, and artisans who bring it from tree to glass. Think orchard strolls, rich regional history, and of course, plenty of cider.

Hot Damn Scandal
Hot Damn Scandal finds its songs under park benches and in forgotten alleyways, on the corner of Tom Waits and Gershwin. The result? A genre-bending sound they call Cabaret Americana—a raucous blend of outlaw ballads, dirty jazz, string band funk, and theatrical chaos. Their performances are lyrical, wild, and endlessly danceable, inviting audiences into a world of cosmic mischief and gritty elegance.
Dumpster Joe
Portland’s Dumpster Joe & the Boys revive the spirit of the 1920s and ’30s with a toe-tapping mix of jazz, ragtime, and country blues, played on res-o-phonic guitar, cello, and an assortment of homemade instruments. Their vast repertoire of pre-war tunes—learned by obsessively collecting 78RPM records—comes to life in a joyful, down-home string-band style that’s as nostalgic as it is delightfully original.

Boiler Room String Band
All-youth string band formed at the Festival of American Fiddle Tunes in 2025. They bring traditional music to life with a focus on old-time and Cajun-French genres, drawing inspiration from The Onlies, who shared many of their favorite songs. Recently, they performed on multiple boats during the Wooden Boat Festival, delighting audiences and leaving listeners smiling at every set. You can follow their journey on Instagram.
Sequim Acrobatics
Sequim Acrobatics is a performance-based arts and athletics program for youth and adults on the Olympic Peninsula. Since opening in Sequim in 2011, the studio has become a community favorite, appearing at local events such as Sequim’s Irrigation Parade, Family Fun Day, and the Twilight Festival in Forks. In recent years, they’ve earned a reputation for their spectacular yearly shows—best described as small-town Cirque du Soleil. Beyond the stage, Sequim Acrobatics provides a space where students of all ages and backgrounds can build strength and flexibility while developing confidence, teamwork, and creative expression.
For Apple Fest, Sequim Acrobatics presents Haunted Circus, a spooky spectacle featuring delicate balancing acts, mind-bending flexibility, and dazzling aerial acrobatics. From a marionette come to life and eerie contortionists to playful clowns, audiences will be transported into a whimsical circus world.
