Join us for Airport Day, a celebration of aviation in Jefferson County! On Sunday, August 2nd, from 11 AM to 4 PM at the Jefferson County Airport, enjoy a day filled with excitement featuring helicopter and historic aircraft rides, a classic car show, live music, delicious food vendors, face painting, and much more! This incredible event is made possible by fantastic partners, including the Port of Port Townsend, Port Townsend Aero Museum, Commemorative Air Force, Historic Helicopters, East Jefferson Fire and Rescue, and the Pilots Association.

Volunteer Roles
TPA BOOTH & MERCH
Needed: 4
Skills: Friendly attitude, basic customer service, willingness to use a Square card reader (training provided).
Role: Welcoming attendees to the event, keeping a clicker count of attendees, collecting donations, and helping out with merchandise sales. Station with chairs. ​
PARKING
Needed: 4
Role:Help guide the flow of traffic and event attendees as well as facilitating event parking. ​​​

TEAR DOWN
Needed: 2
Skills: Organization, teamwork, light lifting, problem-solving.
Role: Help with the breakdown of TPA tents, stage, and fencing as well as a final trash sweep of the grounds.
Shift: 4PM - 5PM
